
Dr. Kimit Rai is an internationally recognized, award-winning, board-certified Plastic Surgeon and Surgical Director, as well as the co-founder of The Rai Clinic. With over 25 years of experience in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Rai holds privileges at both the Eagle Ridge and Royal Columbian Hospital, along with False Creek Healthcare.
In addition, he is the President and Founder of Operation Rainbow Canada, a non-profit organization of physicians that provide free reconstructive surgery for those with cleft palates in developing countries Third World Countries. Dr. Rai completed his training at the University of British Columbia in 1975, when he was certified in Plastic Surgery, subsequently gaining American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) certification in 1977.
Dr. Rai is frequently asked to speak at educational symposiums, with his work published extensively. His most recent award was the 2019 Order of British Columbia, honouring Dr. Rai’s life-changing work in places such as Cambodia, India, Lebanon, Mexico, and the Philippines through Operation Rainbow Canada.
